As she digs for the truth, past gang members involved in a murder, and a zealous animal rights group bring danger to Meg.
Wounded by a gunshot, Meg is reluctant to continue as a sleuth.
Does she have the resilience to face the danger and investigate a stolen horse, another death, and two attempted murders while struggling to cope with the likelihood of a devastating personal loss?

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
What Happened to Frank?
"What happened to Frank? is a quick-paced and easy to read mystery. It carries you along as Meg investigates a series of possible suspects until she finds the answer to Frank's death. And that answer is a surprise! I shall say no more."

~~ Anne Leueen Willoughy, Dressage Rider, Canadian former actress and author of the popular blog: https://horseaddict.net/
"If you thought Book 1 ... had you scratching your head at the goings on surrounding her husband, Frank, then "Over Frank's Dead Body" will keep you in suspense all over again. Finding out what is behind this takes the reader on another mind bender."
~~ Jennifer Morrison,
Author, Freelance Horse Racing Writer, Handicapper, Four-Time Sovereign Award Winner
"This book reminded me of why I love a good 'whodunit.' The tight writing and fast pace quickly drew me in and didn't let go of me until the last page. I might just have a new favourite sleuth."

Pointed Attacks:
...'As ever, the author shows her love of animals on every page and Meg needs extra courage and determination to uncover all the pieces of a complicated puzzle. I very much hope there will be a sequel!' ***** Dawn Symes-Podic

Playing with Fire:
'As I got into the book, the more I wanted to find out 'whodunit'! It was hard to put the book down and go to bed! I had to pace myself! Loved it!' **** Lin

Dying for Money:
'I have read the first four books in the series and thoroughly enjoyed how Vicky draws the reader into mystery and intrigue as Meg tries to untangle a web of chaos surrounding a murder that rings too close to home for her. But #5 Dying for Money is just as captivating and hard to put down. Her transitions between characters and situations is so smooth and effortless that it is just a pleasure to read and my desire to want more is a craving hanging in the air! Thanks Vicky! More please!! ***** Lin
